Books that are more than 28 days overdue are automatically declared "Lost", and the borrower is charged a lost book fee, plus a non-refundable $15 processing fee for each book. A hold will be placed on your library borrowing record until the book is returned, replaced or paid for.

If you receive a "Lost" notice, but still have the book, bring the book in within one month and we will remove the "Lost" status and the book cost will be refunded by the Comptroller's Office (via mail). The $15.00 processing fee is not refundable.
