No! Automatic overdue emails are sent based on the status of your request in our software systems. If the item has not been discharged from your library account in the case of TexShare titles or updated to ‘returned’ in our interlibrary loan system in the case of ILL titles you remain responsible for the item. If you are receiving overdue notices for an item you think you returned please first check your shelves thoroughly. If you cannot find the item contact the Interlibrary Loan office at your home campus or email us immediately so that we can investigate the issue. Common reasons for this situation include having ordered more than one copy of a title or having several items with similar titles. It's also important not to lend items borrowed on your account to others. You are still responsible if the item is lost by someone else.
